Fed Fest vs the Packers

I'm here, let's ride!

Depsite going up against a Packer game, about 60 die-hard Bike Fed fans showed up at our Milwaukee office at 1 PM on Sunday to ride, eat, drink and make merry.  By 5 PM, the raffle prizes were distributed, all the pizza was eaten and thirsty riders put a big dent in our supply of New Belgium Bear, Milwaukee’s 2012 Fed Fest was a success, even if the numbers were a bit down from last year.

Credit for the good times at this year’s Milwaukee Fed Fest to the 15 people who volunteered, and to our great sponsors Trocadero, Transfer Pizza, and New Belgium Brewery for donating all the delicious food and beverages. Don’t worry if you missed out on the successful 2012 Fed Fests in Appleton and Milwaukee. You can still join in the fun in Madison (10/11), Eau Claire (10/13), or La Crosse (10/14). Check out the link for more details on each city. You can win a Bike Fed shirt, support bicycle advocacy to make your ride better and make new cycling friends.

If you are interested in organizing a Fed Fest in your community, email us. We can help you with all the basics, all you need to do is plan a couple rides and host the party. And we promise to check the Packer schedule before we set the dates for the 2013 Fed Fests.

Transfer Pizza did not last long!

After a bike ride, most people seem to find the grub without the aid of a sign.

Lycra riders post ride banter with the Executive Director.

Oh yeah, we got ping pong at our Milwaukee office!

Bundled up and heading home.
