Clips Beer and Film Tour is returning to Wisconsin for another round of beer-drinking, bike-riding, film-watching goodness. If you haven’t heard of it before, or need some convincing, here are 5 reasons why you need to go to Clips.Advertisement
1. The beers
The beers! Oh, boy, the beers! New Belgium brings out their best. You’ll get to try an esoteric selection of New Belgium Brewing’s beers including Yuzu Berlinerweiss, Wild Dubbel, FOCOllaboration IPA, Summer Helles, Snapshot Wheat, Gruit, Gratzer, Coconut Curry Hefewiezen, La Folie, Ranger IPA, 1554, Trippel, Abbey, Blue Paddle, Shift, Rampant Imperial IPA, and of course, Fat Tire.
2. The Films
You’ll get to see 90 minutes of films from indie directors and students, hand-picked by the Clips crew for awesomeness. These creative films touch on craft beer (of course), advocacy/activism, humor, culture, adventure, art and fun.
3. The Cruiser Bike
Do you dream of getting to ride away from Clips on your own, custom New Belgium cruiser bike filled with dozens of cases of New Belgium beer? Your dream could come true at Clips! Well, the first part, at least. We’re raffling off this beautiful bike for just $5 a ticket. You need this bike in your life, trust us.
4. Bike Valet
Biking is the heart of clips. If you’re riding in, we’re going to take care of you with FREE secure bike valet at Madison and Milwaukee Clips events. A huge shoutout to Eppstein Uhen for making valet possible in Milwaukee, and Madison B-Cycle for bringing a bike share check-in station to Madison Clips. Roll in, drop your bike off, and enjoy. We’ll even give you a high-five. The Bike Fed gives awesome high-fives.
5. Clips Supports Wisconsin Bicycling
Beer is great, but you know what’s better? Beer that supports a good cause. Thanks to the generosity of New Belgium Brewery, all beer profits will go towards our work to make Wisconsin more bike-friendly. Things like Share & Be Aware, our statewide campaign to educate motorists and pedestrians about road safety, our advocacy work at the State Capitol, and more. You’re literally drinking beer for a good cause!
