$7,500 raised at Milwaukee Clips

Thanks to everyone who came down last night for the New Belgium Brewing Clips Beer and Film Tour at Milwaukee’s Veteran’s Park and helped us raise $7,500 to make Wisconsin a better place to ride a bicycle. Special thanks to the 79 volunteers who helped set up, pour beer, park bicycles, sell merchandise and stayed late to tear everything down.

People rode down from as far away as West Allis!

Mother Nature gave us a beautiful night along Milwaukee’s stunning lakefront, which made for a perfect evening to enjoy delicious and hard to find New Belgium session beers while watching interesting films under the full moon. Milwaukee’s Compost Kids brought their crew to help divert more than 90% of the trash from landfills. Using our new Saris Event Racks, which were donated to the Milwaukee office by Eppstein Uhen Architects, volunteers Ryan and Barb provided valet bike parking. Next year we will have a fenced in valet parking area so people don’t even need to bring locks.

Choices, choices…

Don’t feel too bad if you missed this one, next week Thursday, June 19th, the New Belgium Clips Beer and Film Tour will be in Madison at Olin Park, a pleasant day ride down the Glacial Drumlin Trail from Milwaukee.

This was the first year we had valet bike parking using Saris event racks, which were generously donated by Eppstein Uhen Architects.

Riding by the light of the silvery moon.

Thumbs Up? We couldn’t agree more Eric!
