Fire Up Your Feet winning schools announced!

This past May was the Fire Up Your Feet Spring Activity Challenge. The Bike Fed contributed $2,100 in prize money to help inspire the kids at the K-8 Wisconsin schools remember to log their miles and minutes of physical activity for an entire month. Congratulations to all the many schools who took part in the Challenge, but as with any bike race, there are only three places on top of the podium.

I am please to announce the top three schools for the Fire Up Your Feet Spring Activity Challenge below. If you school didn’t get a prize, don’t feel bad. You are all winners for being more active and healthy. For those looking to move up in the next challenge, take note: both first place Riverside Elementary School in Fond Du Lac as well as the second place Siefert Elementary School in Milwaukee, both utilized the coordinator tracking model to make sure as much of the activity their students were engaging in was getting counted.
