Block Party in Amani

Amani residents and those nearby are invited to a block party focused on active transportation! This block party is hosted by Amani United and the Dominican Center for Women. Enjoy the new Active Street on 26th Street from Locust to Burleigh. Bring your bike for a tune up provided by the Bike Fed’s Mobile Bike Repair. Haven’t been on a bike in a year, or two years, or even a decade? Try out a Bublr – it’s “just like riding a bike”! Northside Rising, MilWALKee Walks, and the Wisconsin Bike Fed will be available to discuss important projects and programs, including Complete Streets, changes to roadways, pedestrian safety initiatives, and youth programming. Have fun with your community and get involved!
