Kenosha Area Mountain Bike Association – Petrifying Springs Trails Grand Opening
June 2 @ 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

On the eve of Bike Week, come celebrate the completion of trail improvements at Petrifying Springs Park which includes multi-use trails for hikers and bikers, reconditioned hiking trails, as well as the first three miles of purpose-built mountain bike trails.
The event starts with a ribbon cutting at the trail head at 5:30pm, followed by group rides on the new mountain bike trails and a group trail run led by Kenosha Running Club. The party continues with music in the Petrifying Springs Biergarten. The Kenosha Area Mountain Bike Association in coordination with Kenosha County Parks and the University of Wisconsin – Parkside, are building mountain bike trails in Petrifying Springs Park and on university land leased to the county.
KAMBA is proud to be a part of this major trails accomplishment. Petrifying Springs Park is the flagship park of the Kenosha County Park system. The mountain bike trail system was made possible by the work of a cooperative land agreement between two important institutions of Kenosha County. Please help UW-Parkside, Kenosha County Parks and KAMBA celebrate the accomplishment and look to the future.
