La Crosse gears up for 2nd annual bike swap
Posted onby
The Wisconsin Bike Fed and Logan Bike Works are putting the wheels into motion to bring the community together for La Crosse’s third annual bike swap meet. This year we will be back in the gymnasium at Logan Middle School on February 28th from 10 am- 2 pm.
After three years of successfully raising funds for Logan Bike Worksafter school program and the Bike Fed, the La Crosse Swap is now a regular part of our winter calendar. More than an opportunity for you to sell your unused bikes and parts and scavenge for deals, the swap is a great place to hang with friends.
You can feel good that with every purchase you are helping teach middle school students bike maintenance skills and give them the opportunity to build positive relationships, but please do come for the deals too!
Whether it is a bigger bike for your still-growing child, a winter commuter bike to get you to work through the snow and salt, a lightly used but lightning quick road bike to trounce your pals, or vintage parts, you can’t miss this chance to score some incredible deals.
If your stable is bursting at the seams, come to the swap to re-home your dusty bikes, parts, and accessories, register here for a booth. To simply sell a couple of bikes, come to the Bike Swap on February 28th and pay $5 per bike to sell them in the bike corral. Label each bike with the details, selling price, and your contact information. Shop while you wait for an offer. All purchases are between buyer and seller. Any bikes unsold at 2 pm must be picked up or they will be donated to Logan Bike Works.
Register here for your table at the swap.
