The “400” State Trail 25th Anniversary on June 9th


The “400” State Trail will be celebrating its 25th anniversary on Saturday, June 9. Visitors to the 400 Trail will be able to sign up for a chance to win prizes in each of the five communities along the Trail and participate in the activities sponsored by the Friends of the 400 Trail, Inc.

Users can also sign up for a chance to win the major prize, a $400 gift debit card, by entering the Passport Event. Participants would need to have their Passport stamped by a Friends representative in each community and those who obtain the five stamps will have their names included in the final drawing. Participants must bike ride, walk or run the entire 400 State Trail between 8:00a.m. and 4:00p.m. Drawing will held on June 14th and the winner will be contacted.

The schedule of activities will be held at the following times and locations:

Reedsburg –  400 Trail Headquarters Depot at 10.00 a.m. Andrew “Drew” Nussbaum, Regional Tourism Specialist for the State of Wisconsin will be in attendance. Refreshments throughout the day

La Valle – Live music throughout the noon hour at Trail Break Restaurant. Refreshments will be served throughout the day

Wonewoc – 400 Trail shelter. Between noon and 3:00p.m. 40et 8 train replica free trail rides. Round trip betweenWonewoc and Union Center. Space will be limited. Wonewoc Fireman/Neighbors Sandwich & Deli cookout between noon and 3:00p.m.

Union Center – Refreshments throughout the day at the 400 Trail shelter.

Elroy – Elroy Commons. Refreshments throughout the day.
