This course is geared toward individuals or organization/workplace representatives interested in developing confidence in mentoring other adults to be safe and confident bike riders, such as organizations working with individuals that rely on bikes as primary mode of transportation, workplaces interested in promoting biking to work, or individuals/clubs interested in implementing group bike rides for leisure to beginners.
This on-bike course covers:
- State laws (Classroom)
- Bike handling skills and safe riding techniques (On-bike)
- Community ride to put new skills into practice! (Short conversational paced ride)
Participants must bring a well-working bicycle and properly-fitted helmet!

Registration is FREE, but pre-registration is required. Bring a well-working bicycle and a properly fitted helmet. Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. Bring cooler and wet weather gear. Please bring your own refillable water bottle. Light snacks provided.
