Eland to County Road Q and back, about 12 miles.
This ride will happen on the same day as Eland Day, a celebration focusing on the village’s rail history. Festivities include train rides, food, music, vendors, and kids’ games. The trail that runs past the depot was an active rail into the 1990s. The local historical society has lots of info in the depot about the history of the Chicago & North Western railway that ran through the village.
