With offices in Milwaukee, Madison, La Crosse and part time regional staff around the state, the Wisconsin Bike Fed offers a host of programs for kids, adults and communities. If you are interested in bringing any of our programs here to your community,
Every year our Milwaukee area Safe Routes to School instructors teach thousands of kids how to ride a bicycle legally and safely. Our time-tested curriculum is easily integrated into any school schedule and we even provide the bicycles, helmets and locks.
Our Mobile Bike Repair program not only does free repairs in low-income neighborhoods without access to a nearby bike shop, it gives our teen mechanic apprentices valuable job training and something to put on a resume.
Share & Be Aware is a comprehensive safety program that educates and encourages all road users to obey the laws and share the road. Through direct instruction, working with drivers education instructors, tabling at events and public service marketing, our Share & Be Aware ambassadors are making Wisconsin a safer place to drive, bike and walk.
If you would like help making your community or workplace a better place to ride a bike, the Bike Fed’s planning staff can help. We have helped produce comprehensive bicycle and pedestrian plans for businesses, counties, municipalities and towns across Wisconsin. Whether you have questions about bike lanes and bicycle boulevards to off-street paved trails or purpose-built mountain bike park, contact us for free advice to point you in the right direction or to contract with us for a specific project. We are happy to submit our qualifications or respond to an RFP.
If you don’t find what you need there, feel free to contact us directly via email or call one of offices in Milwaukee or Madison.
