Lots of events and ways to connect with us coming up in Madison.
Here are just a few upcoming events Bike Fed will be at in Madison. Stay tuned for more as they develop. We are excited to be back out and amongst the people making biking better!
Mercadito de las Américas
Location: Penn Park 2101 Fisher St, Madison, WI 53713
Date: Thursday, September 9 Time: 16:00-20:00
How is the Bike Fed involved? In partnership with The City of Madison, the Bike Fed has been offering bike programming at this weekly vibrant, family friendly neighborhood event all summer. Kids have the opportunity to help create a bike course with cones, chalk, and mini replicas of street signs, and then ride the course on their own bikes or borrow one that’s provided. There are even Striders available to children still learning to pedal a bike. While the focus of the event is to get kids riding safely and with awareness to their surroundings, we also offer assistance with minor repairs and inflating tires.
Bike Fitchburg Bike Rodeo
Location: New Fountains Apartments (5401 Williamsburg Way, Fitchburg, WI 53719)
Date: Saturday, September 11 Time: 10-13:00
How is the Bike Fed involved? We will be following the lead of Bike Fitchburg by helping set up and run bike safety and practice courses for kids who are anywhere from beginner to advanced riders.
