Shawano County Friends of the Mountain Bay Trail is celebrating the trail’s 30th anniversary this year with a variety of events including rides on sections of the 53 miles of trail in Shawano County. Rides are roundtrip and followed with social time at a local eatery. Rides are at a casual pace with no one left behind. Meet at the Maple Avenue trailhead kiosk south of W8572 Maple Ave. Address is for directional info, NOT part of the ride. This will be a 12-mile ride focusing on farms along the way, trail amenities such as bike shelters, a kiosk with rail and train history and bridges over streams through the woods.
