“You don’t quit riding your bike because you get old, you get old because you quit riding your bike.” – Unknown

This is where you ride when you want space. Space to push. Space to breathe. Space to disappear into the rhythm of the road.

Tucked into central Wisconsin, Waushara County offers more than 280 miles of paved bike routes and nine miles of mountain bike trails, all set on quiet backroads and wooded paths where the scenery changes and the stress fades. Here, rides are marked, welcoming, and designed for riders of all levels, whether you’re easing into a casual cruise or stretching out for a full day in the saddle.

Every paved route is clearly marked, so you can focus less on directions and more on effort. Some roads roll easy. Others ask more of your legs. And if you’re hunting a true test, detour off Route #6 and take on the Mt. Morris Park Hill. Short. Steep. Unforgiving. The payoff? A scenic overlook, a deep breath, and that earned-at-the-top satisfaction.

When pavement isn’t enough, head into the woods at Mt. Morris. The singletrack twists through trees, crunches under your tires, and quiets everything except your breath and the trail ahead. Maintained by Mt. Morris Single Track, these trails deliver challenge, flow, and a mental reset you can’t download.

Planning is simple. Route maps and downloads are available online, with printed guides found throughout the county. Ride solo. Ride with friends. Ride until your legs are done and your mind is clear.  Local group rides and social cycling options make it easy to find your people.

Waushara County doesn’t shout for attention. It rewards those who come looking.  Come ride it once, and you’ll already be planning your return.
