Bike Fed & Rails to Trails Advocacy Day 2025
Despite a day that was rainy, snowy, and incredibly windy, Wednesday, March 5, 2025 was one of our most highly attended Advocacy Days ever!
Our thanks to partner Rails to Trails Conservancy and everyone who was involved for making Advocacy Day at the Capitol so great by lending your stories and your voices to help make Wisconsin one of the best places in the country to ride a bike.
In total, we had almost 80 cycling advocates take part. This helped us have individual meetings with 22 of the 33 senate offices and 34 of the 99 assembly offices. For the legislators who didn’t have an advocate from their district, all of our attendees chipped in to hand deliver informational folders directly to their offices. We covered the entire Capitol!
If you missed the March 2025 event, look for Government Affairs Manager Mike at the Wheel & Sprocket Bike Expo on Saturday April 11th. He’ll be giving a presentation on everything we did and what we’re looking forward to in the future!
