The Chicago & Northwestern Bike Spur project is being led by stakeholders in Wausau and, when completed, will provide a safer connecting trail through downtown Wausau that will connect the Mountain Bay State Trail and Rivers Edge Trail System.
This trail connector would provide a near fully off-road route that would connect hundreds of miles of multi-use trail through the heart of the state.
