Fete Ghede is the Haitian Voodoo celebration honoring life, death, and rebirth that corresponds to All Saints Day. This is the time to acknowledge our Ancestors through feasts and festivities. We will ride and visit neighborhood memorials adding flowers to the shrines of memorialized community members. Food and drink will be provided after the ride along with face painting before the ride if you come early. You may also show up with your face already painted.

The ride length is 5-6 miles. The ride will take place Rain or Shine. Ride will include stops along the way. Please bring a reusable water bottle along with photos of loved ones to honor them and/or flowers and candles to leave at memorial sites. Dress for the weather. Dress in purple, black, or white attire. This will be the final Red Bike & Green ride of the season.
