The John McKenzie and Don Bakker Memorial Bike Ride is scheduled for Saturday, August 23, leaving Jones Park/Grove Street at 8:30 a.m. Riders select their route ranging from 16, 31, or 62 miles. The scenic route leads them through wooded areas of Jefferson County near Rock Lake, Lake Ripley, and Koshkonong Creek as they ride from Fort Atkinson to Jefferson, Lake Mills, Cambridge, and back to Jones Park in Fort Atkinson.

Riders will be provided breakfast snacks and camaraderie in the beautiful Jones Park on the morning of the ride. Comfort will be provided along the way with several rest stops, snacks, bathrooms, and shade. The trek ends back at Jones Park with lunch and beverages.
