Riding Bayshore to Lakeshore
The BayCare Clinic Century Returns June 6, 2026
On June 6, 2026 hundreds of cyclists from across Wisconsin and beyond will roll into Green Bay for one of the region’s most anticipated annual rides: the BayCare Clinic Century. With its scenic routes, broad accessibility, and deep commitment to community health, the event has become a signature early‑summer tradition in Northeast Wisconsin. Hosted at BayCare Clinic headquarters at 1035 Kepler Drive, the ride stretches from the shores of Green Bay to Lake Michigan and back—a spectacular “Bayshore to Lakeshore” journey that captures the heart of the region’s landscape.
From 100‑, 60‑, 30‑, or 15‑mile routes, welcoming riders of all ages and skill levels to take part. The event’s non‑competitive structure makes it both approachable and celebratory—perfect for seasoned athletes chasing long miles as well as families seeking a shared adventure on two wheels. In 2025, more than 500 riders participated, and the event continues to grow heading into its 2026 edition.
One reason cyclists return year after year is the immersive scenery. Riders wind their way along quiet rural stretches, waterfront views, rolling green countryside, and forested corridors. The signature 100‑mile route connects the waters of Green Bay to Lake Michigan, offering a powerful sense of progression as landscapes shift from coastal marshes to inland fields to the dramatic lakeshore. The changing vistas keep riders energized, while the region’s natural beauty delivers a meditative, memorable experience.
But the BayCare Clinic Century is known for more than its views. Many riders say the thoughtfully designed rest stops are among the best in the state’s cycling events. Along every route, cyclists can expect well‑stocked stations with water, Gatorade, fruit, snacks, sunscreen, and other fuel to keep legs fresh and spirits high. Some rest stops even feature local touches—such as hearty booyah soup for long‑distance riders. These small delights help create the ride’s signature culture of camaraderie and care.

The support provided throughout the day is equally robust. Registered riders receive a commemorative tri‑blend shirt, access to SAG vehicles, and a fully‑supported experience from start to finish. Mechanical assistance is available at rest stops, and route signage across all mileage options ensures a safe, smooth, worry‑free journey. For many returning participants, the welcoming environment and strong logistics make the ride an annual must-do.
Once riders return to BayCare Clinic headquarters, the celebration continues. A festive post‑ride gathering awaits, complete with a taco bar and picnic‑style meal, including gluten‑free, dairy‑free, and vegetarian options. After hours on the road, the chance to refuel, relax, and share ride stories with fellow cyclists is a cherished capstone of the experience.
Yet at the center of the BayCare Clinic Century is something even more meaningful: its mission. Hosted in partnership with the BayCare Clinic Foundation, the ride raises funds to support local health, wellness, and community initiatives across Northeast Wisconsin. Past beneficiaries include the Center for Suicide Awareness, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin, Veterans First of NEW, the Oral Health Partnership, and scholarship programs that strengthen regional wellbeing. Every pedal stroke helps fuel a wide-reaching positive impact.
For many participants, that community connection is what transforms the ride from an athletic event into something deeper. Whether someone is riding their first 15‑mile loop or completing a full century, the shared purpose behind the experience creates a sense of unity among riders. The BayCare Clinic Century isn’t just about the miles—it’s about investing in healthier communities, advancing local causes, and celebrating a shared dedication to wellbeing.

With Wisconsin Bike Fed’s ongoing mission to create a more bike‑friendly state, the BayCare Clinic Century stands as a shining example of how cycling can bring people together while strengthening the community. The event aligns beautifully with the Bike Fed’s goals—encouraging active lifestyles, promoting safe and accessible biking infrastructure, and supporting education and advocacy efforts that benefit cyclists statewide.
As June 6 approaches, Green Bay is gearing up to once again welcome riders of all backgrounds and abilities. Whether you’re riding your first organized event or returning for another Bayshore‑to‑Lakeshore journey, the BayCare Clinic Century promises a vibrant, scenic, and meaningful day on the bike. If you’re looking for an early‑summer adventure filled with camaraderie, purpose, and the unmatched beauty of northeastern Wisconsin, this is a ride you won’t want to miss.
