Businesses and Communities

Bicycles tend to be an indicator species of vibrant,  economically healthy communities. Where you see lots of people biking and walking, you often find successful businesses and healthy, happy communities.

There are many ways for businesses and communities to make it more convenient, safer and more attractive for people to ride bicycles for transportation and recreation. The benefits for businesses and communities of more people cycling, are many. Employers see increased productivity and reduced health care costs. Communities see increases in property values and are more attractive places to live, work and do business.

The Bike Fed has a number of programs that are easy to implement, and can be tailored and scaled to your business or community. These programs are proven to get more people riding to work, to shop and for fun.
