Each year, the Bike Fed coordinates with our members in communities across the state to organize fun local cycling events during Wisconsin Bike Week. From short Bike to Work events, to Ice Cream Social Rides and even overnight camping trips, Wisconsin Bike Week your chance to promote the best of your community by bike.

Wisconsin Bike Week 2019 was a great success. Just like in years past, there were dozens of events and activities across the state for people of all ages and abilities.  The current pandemic has forced the delay of Bike Week events this year, but we’re putting some virtual events on September 12th-20th! Stay updated with events through our Bike Week website! If you wish to plan or participate in our contests please see the instructions below!

Want to Host an Event or Offer a Deal/Discount during Wisconsin Bike Week?

There are many ways to host events, even while promoting physical distancing. Some ideas include:

  • Offer deals and benefits to people riding during this week!  Everyone loves a reason to jump on the bike and visit a new (or old) favorite store, restaurant, etc. Whether you’re a business, a rider or both, get involved in Bike Benefit Blitz organized by Bicycle Benefits (ALL SEPTEMBER)
  • Host a COVID-19 safe event! Do you have a great route suggestion to/from your place of business – want to show off a cool new bike rack? How about an idea for a virtual event? SIGN UP for our opportunities HERE!
  • Be a Bike Week “Pedal for Good,” Food drive drop-off location! This has been a difficult year for local food banks. We direct our network towards giving what they can to support those with critical needs such as hunger and health. GO TO BIKEWEEK.WISCONSINBIKEFED.ORG to find out which cities are participating!
  • ALL of WISCONSIN Community member SHOWCASE: Portraits by Bike. We’re telling the stories of inspirational cyclists from across the state and putting their name in lights tell us your story or nominate someone you know HERE!
