Get ready to spread some holiday cheer on two wheels! Join the Wisconsin Bike Fed for the Santa Cycle Rampage, a festive celebration of cycling, costumes, and community.

Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just looking for a fun way to celebrate the holidays, everyone is welcome! Choose your adventure with the Main Ride (approximately 6.5 miles) or the Elf Frenzy Ride (approximately 3 miles). Both rides leave from the Wheel & Sprocket in Bayview.

Dress as Santa, an elf, a reindeer, or your favorite holiday character. Decorate your bike, pump up those tires, and get ready for a memorable ride!

Our elves are hard at work preparing this year’s route! The route is still being finalized in Santa’s Workshop and will be emailed to you after you register. Keep an eye on your inbox for all the details you’ll need to join the festivities.

Best of all, your participation supports the Bike Fed’s youth and family programs, helping us foster active communities and advance cycling and walking across Wisconsin through education, legislation, and infrastructure.

Event Schedule

8:00 AM – Packet Pickup Opens. Pick up your event packet and get ready for the ride.
9:30 AM – Main Ride Rolls Out. The Main Ride departs from 187 E. Becher St.
9:40 AM – Elf Frenzy Ride Rolls Out. The shorter Elf Frenzy Ride departs from 187 E. Becher St. .
Finish at Schlitz Park. Celebrate the finish with your fellow riders!
After the Ride – Disperse with your friends and visit one of the participating establishments to continue the celebration.

Madison, it’s your turn to get festive! The Wisconsin Bike Fed is bringing the holiday spirit to the streets for the Santa Cycle Rampage, and we want you to be part of the fun.

Pull on your favorite holiday costume, deck out your bike, and join us for one merry ride filled with Christmas cheer and community spirit. Whether you come dressed as Santa, an elf, or something completely unique, this is your chance to celebrate the season in a whole new way!

Santa’s Workshop is still putting the finishing touches on this year’s route. Registered riders will receive the route by email after signing up, so keep an eye on your inbox.

Best of all, this festive fundraiser supports the Wisconsin Bike Fed’s youth and family programs, helping make biking and walking safer and more accessible throughout Wisconsin.

10:00 AM – Arrive at Breese Stevens Field
• The Forward Club will be open for beverages and refreshments
• Meet your friends and get into the holiday spirit!

11:00 AM – Group ride rolls out

12:30 PM – Return to Breese Stevens Field
• Keep the celebration going with more refreshments at The Forward Club

1:30 PM – Event concludes

Santa Cycle Rampage is a fun way to raise critical funds that support youth and family based education and encouragement programs in Milwaukee and Dane Counties. Both these programs have a match requirement and the funds raised at these events provide critical financial support to our programs that help kids and families get riding safely and more often!
