What are your plans for President’s Day weekend? We hope you can join us for the 2026 Bike Across the Bay. We are back after a few bad ice winters. BAB started as a grassroots race on Chequamegon bay in 2015 and this will be the 8th race. Check out some early videos of the race here. We will have race timing, good prizes and the best course mother nature provides. We have continued to offer the lowest registration fees possible thanks to our Sponsors. NEW This Year!
The Book Across the Bay ski race is planning a course from Washburn to Ashland this year. As a result we have the opportunity of using the groomed trail up to marked 10k and 20k turnaround points on the ‘Book across the Bay’ course. Our Race is on Sunday the 15th of February after the Saturday main ‘Book’ event.
Our start line will be at the Harbor Table (formerly Harborview Event Center) and will travel the city streets down to West End park where we enter the ice course. Pre-registration is advised but we will have bib pickup and late registration at the Harbor Table starting at 10:30 AM.
