Our mission is to raise funds for affordable housing organizations while building community and camaraderie with an annual multi-day bicycle ride.
Bike.Build.Home500 was organized to continue the fine traditions of the Habitat 500 bike ride, which was previously coordinated by Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota. In its 30-year history, bike riders raised over $7 million to build affordable homes. The Bike.Build.Home500 committee includes past Habitat 500 riders, volunteers, and committee members. Bike.Build.Home500 hopes to mobilize the nearly-all-volunteer spirit of the original Habitat 500, updating it with what we learned from Habitat Minnesota.
The Planning Committee meets regularly via Zoom, so anyone can be a part of this important process from the comfort of your own home or office. Any and all assistance is appreciated!
