Kids Bicycle Rodeo

The Sheboygan Police Department is sponsoring the 2024 Kids Bike Rodeo. Topics include hand signals, bicycle maintenance, safe riding, rules of the road, lock-up, and handouts. Activities include free helmet fitting, free bike inspection, free education and skills course, and free PRIZES. Sign up in advance ( website link) for a free bonus gift bag. Registrations are also accepted at the event.
The skills course will teach riders how to change directions, steer through tight spaces, weave and maneuver, watch for danger, stop safely, and many other skills in a safe and controlled environment. It is open to children ages 3-14 years old. Parents/guardians/family are also encouraged to participate. Please bring a bicycle and helmet. Bikes are available at the event if needed. Riders must be able to balance without assistance (training wheels are welcome). New helmets are available if needed while supplies last.
Average course completion time is 30 minutes
All children must be accompanied at all times by a parent/guardian at least 18 years of age.
All participants must wear a bicycle helmet when riding their bicycle at the event.
