GWAPT announces the Waupa-Wega Warmup Ride that may interest you just for fun or as a warmup for the Waupaca Triathlon a couple of weeks later. The Warmup Ride is on Saturday, July 27th. It will start at the Waupa-Wega Trailhead, the parking lot on the corner of Hwy 54 Bypass and Godfrey Drive, right across from FVTC campus, at 10:00 a.m.
Registration will start at 9:30 a.m. and go to 11:00. The ride is 21 miles long and goes to Weyauwega and back to the Trailhead. This is a relatively flat ride. Lunch will be in Weyauwega. T-shirt and lunch included in the $30 registration fee. Pre-registration and payment are preferred but walk-ins are welcome. However, we cannot guarantee lunch for walk-ins.
