Local Bike Shops
In a 2023 survey of Wisconsin Bike Fed members, 78% expressed their preference to shop primarily at local bike shops for cycling gear.
Wisconsin is home to 171 local bike shops!
The Bike Fed maintains a valued relationship with our Bike Shop Members, which plays an important role in creating safe places for everyone ages 8 to 80 to ride. Our member shops communicate with us about specific local needs, and the Bike Fed shares with them legislative updates and statewide grant opportunities, as well as encouragement for their community to help everyone enjoy life on a bicycle. These member shops may often sell Bike Fed merchandise and maps, as well as host seasonal events in partnership with our staff!
