Cycling Without Age Virtual Information Meeting
Are you interested in sharing bike rides with those who are no longer able to pedal for themselves? The Bike Fed and Wisconsin Department of Health Services have come together to help you connect with seniors for a ride that changes lives.
You can be part of the reason people are able to get outside and spend time on trails not otherwise accessible to them, there will be storytelling and smiles, lots of smiles! We’re hosting a statewide virtual information session and you are invited!
Wednesday, March 15, 2023 4:30-5:30 pm
- 4:30-5:00 pm: We’ll start with 30 minutes of general information and an introduction to our CWA webpages (trishaws, pilots, fundraising, and more). A brief Q&A will lead into topics for future sessions and statewide CWA events:
April 21, 2023: Train the Trainer – Trishaw Pilot Training CWA in Stevens Point, WI
Nov 21, 2023: Appleton Christmas Parade Decorated Trishaws in Appleton, WI
- 5:00-5:30 pm: Learn about specific funding and assistance provided to Skilled Nursing Facilities through the Civil Money Penalties Reinvestment Program. If you are interested in helping skilled nursing facilities in 359 statewide locations, establish and fund programs (YES, even the trishaws!), please join us and help pass the opportunity on to every eligible facility.
