A common type of helmet used by educators across the country and Wisconsin have been recalled. If your child has a ProRider Helmet please check to see if it is part of the recall and dispose of it or upcycle it into a hanging planter!

How do I know if my helmet is part of the recall?

  • Visit the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s website to check the specific models effected.
  • All recalled products were produced in the year 2022
  • Every helmet has a manufacture date inside. After 5 years helmets deteriorate and should be replaced regardless of any recall.

To receive a replacement helmet, the following is required:

1.            Refer to the list of recalled manufacture dates and compare it with the printed manufacture date on the inner label of your helmet.

2.            If your helmet matches the exact manufacture date posted in the recall for that specific helmet style: include a picture of the helmet and a picture of the inner label with the manufacturer’s date that matches the posted recall dates.

3.            The size of the helmet.

4.            The address to mail the replacement.

If you are contacted by someone you’ve given a helmet to, refer them to this list and let them know to email org@prorider.com for more information.

The information can be emailed to org@prorider.com.  Our website, www.prorider.com also has a recall link.  Feel free to contact us at the number below if you have any questions.

Sorry for any inconvenience.
