If this sounds like something you would like to be part of, please join us!

Train the Trainer for Cycling Without Age (CWA) is based on teaching Savvy City Cycling for CWA, developed by the Wisconsin DOT and the Bike Fed. This class is intended to share our experience and materials with those who want to be CWA pilot trainers. Upon completion of this class, you will have the guidance and examples to teach new CWA pilots. These pilots will be able to bring passengers along on their own fun adventure while recognizing and meeting the needs of each individual passenger.

Ideal candidates for attending Train the Trainer for Trishaw Pilots:

  1. Comprehend, and consistently follow Wisconsin rules of the road impacting people biking and walking.
  2. Are familiar with operation and parts of the trishaw, and able to relate teaching skills to reduce maintenance, costs and time out of service.
  3. Have pedaled trishaws with passengers a minimum of 20 times in the last year
  4. Have attended a Bike Fed Savvy City Cycling for CWA class.

Please note that this class is FREE, but pre-registration and submission of completed pre-class materials is required by April 14th.
